Welcome to ILEA, Denver Chapter!

The last two years have been a couple of really hard years for our industry. We have seen many of our peers relocate into jobs outside of the event industry, some businesses close, and many of our businesses are still working to bring their books back into the green. With these challenges we are finding that fewer businesses are willing to pay for association memberships, and networking event fees, and fewer people want to take the time to get involved.
We, as a board, have decided to close the ILEA Denver Chapter. We have done a lot of work to come to this decision, and we feel it is the right one. By taking this step now, we are able to close on our own terms, and with the ability to support our Colorado industry peers by donating some funds into their organizations.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every person who has served on our board, or on a committee over the last 23 years. ILEA Denver has been a family, and home for so many of you, and that bond will live on.
We also want to thank all of the amazing sponsors and speakers who have joined us over the years. Without your generosity, and enthusiasm, we never would have been able to accomplish all that we have as a chapter.
There is always the possibility that the chapter will reopen again in the future, but for now, this is the right choice, for many reasons both locally and internationally. We appreciate your understanding, and support.
This is bittersweet for all of us.
