Committees

Joining a committee is a great way to get involved with ILEA Los Angeles and your community of event professionals.

Following is a list of the current committees that can use your help:

Programs & Education Committee

Interested in putting your planning skills to work and supporting ILEA LA?  Join the Programs and Education Committee.  This committee is responsible for the planning and executing of the Education and Relationship Events, and the Signature Events, Taste of LA and Meet the Masters. This committee will work closely with the VP of Programs & Education and assist with securing vendors for each event, including but not limited to: caterers, venues, florists, entertainment, audio/visual, etc.

Communications Committee

This committee is the right one for those with busy schedules looking for a structured time commitment for their volunteer work that can be done outside of the office. The best candidates would be organized, read local media, participate or are interested in social networks and/or desire to help spread the news about ILEA LA. Tasks include updating social media with industry-related posts, sourcing and/or writing industry-related blog posts, researching local media outlets for increased exposure for ILEA LA and other duties to execute the chapter’s marketing plan.

 

Membership Committee

Recruiting new members and maintaining current membership roster is the responsibility of this committee. Developing member benefits to entice membership satisfaction and increase membership renewal is the name of the game. Get creative and help out your ILEA Community!
