How do you get INSPIRED?

On Wednesday, March 27, come see what drives the next generation of event planners and designers.

This one-of-a-kind event features the work of 20 young event designers from the Seneca College Event Management — Event and Exhibit Design Program. They have been challenged to design an event concept for a fictitious client from the ground up: selecting a venue, developing a theme, sourcing a caterer, and defining all of the fine details and décor for the event. These “Inspired Spaces” are recreated as tabletop designs to show to their prospective clients.

“Working in events means getting your hands dirty,” says John MacBride, Professor and Coordinator of the Event Program at Seneca, “Not only must the students plan all aspects of the event; they must also build the centrepiece, design the tabletop elements, and pull everything together during our installation.”

This event is made possible through the creative collaboration of Seneca College, Event Rental Group, Presidential Gourmet Catering, ILEA Toronto and Canadian Special Events.
